What are “multifarious points”?
Under the old Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure (which were effective prior to September 1, 1997), an appellate court could disregard any point of error that attacked more than one ruling of the trial court. See Pooser v. Lovett Square Townhomes Owners’ Ass’n, 702 S.W.2d 226, 228 (Tex. App.—Houston [1st Dist.] 1985, writ ref’d n.r.e.).
